Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic outside sales plans to expand market reach within assigned territories
  • Identify potential clients through proactive lead generation and cold calling efforts
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and technical sales presentations tailored to client needs
  • Manage existing accounts while continuously seeking upselling opportunities to maximize revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and analyze performance metrics
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that attract new business
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals efficiently while maintaining profitability standards
  • Conduct regular territory management activities including site visits, competitor analysis, and market research
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues effectively

Experience

  • Proven experience in outside sales, business development, or account management within a B2B environment
  • Strong background in technology sales or technical sales with the ability to demonstrate complex products or solutions
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead tracking and analysis
  • Demonstrated success in territory management, lead generation, cold calling, and direct sales approaches
  • Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Prior experience in retail sales or inside sales is a plus but not required
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling product demos and presentations
