This position reports to

Marketing & Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within Electrification Distribution Solutions market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions Business Division in Singapore. You will be mainly accountable for: • Developing market intelligence and understanding of market trends in Singapore. • Developing the strategic plan on assigned market, defining growth areas and creating action plans to achieve sales objectives. • Focusing on front-end sales execution from end-to-end project pursuits. • Establishing new relationships and maintain current customer base conscientiously by understanding customer needs and promoting a positive customer experience throughout the sales process. • Preparing sales reporting and orders forecast reporting using Salesforce & other tools. • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to assess gaps and opportunities in business performance and current portfolio. • Identifying new business opportunities & project pipelines. • Developing demand creation strategies and be able to propose new product offerings to meet current market demands, closely working with consultants & EPCs on upstream prescription works. • Preparing technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements and coordinating closely with local sales unit and Global Sales Specialists • Ensuring technical and financial aspects of offers, including price and trading conditions, are appropriate • Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and managing resolution to specific customer problems • Providing information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and participating in the risk review assessment.

Qualifications for the role

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical / Electronic or Mechanical engineering.
  • Strong background on Electrical industry and experienced in project sales (medium voltage switchgears).
  • Previous experience in engineering, marketing, and sales.
  • Team player & being able to coordinate with the various sales teams.
