As a Sales Support Specialist at Norgen Biotek, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and establishing strong customer relationships.
*Please note: pay will be commensurate with experience*
Responsibilities:
- Weekly travel between office locations in Thorold, Ontario and Niagara Falls, New York.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and target markets within the life sciences industry.
- Generate new leads and qualify prospects through outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by accurately tracking activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge to effectively position Norgen Biotek's offerings.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Handling administrative tasks such as generating quotes and processing orders
- Additional tasks as directed by the supervisor or manager
Qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree or college diploma is required in either the business field or life science field (Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Genetics, etc.) is required for this role.
- U.S./Canadian work authorization is required for this role.
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience (customer service/sales) is required.
- Familiarity with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools would be an asset
- Strong written and oral communication

- Ability to engage and build relationships with customers
- Detail-oriented and able to stay focused for extended periods
