Principle Objective

The role of the sales coordinator is to input rebar steel schedules onto system, manage customer site requests for deliveries and future orders, inbound sales enquiries, trade counter sales enquiries and liaise with production and customers agreed service levels. Promote the company's products and services in a professional manner and deliver a superior standard of customer care to our existing and new customers.


Knowledge & Experience

  • Sales/admin experience within the construction industry is preferable but not essential
  • Good administrative skills
  • Good team player
  • IT literate, however full system training will be provided
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills and work on own initiative

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a superior standard of customer service to all customers
  • Build on existing relationships to encourage repeat business with customers
  • Work on tenders for both large and small deals in the public and private sector as and when required
  • Maximizing sales and profitability for the company
  • Focus on margin generation
  • Develop and update knowledge of existing and new products within the market
  • Provide support for the current sales team within Heiton steel and branch network
  • Trade counter sales when required

Contract Type

  • Permanent
  • Full time 39-hour contract
  • Working week Monday to Friday
