About the Role
We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Marketing Architect to lead a critical, enterprise-wide transformation. In this role, you will architect and execute our migration from Marketo to Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Advanced/Next architecture), leveraging the power of
Salesforce Data Cloud.
If you are an expert in defining complex migration strategies, designing advanced data models, and orchestrating seamless platform cutovers, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Migration Strategy & Execution: Lead the end-to-end architecture, migration strategy, and execution from Marketo to the target Marketing Cloud environment (including data, assets, campaigns, and integrations).
- Current-State Assessment: Audit our existing Marketo instance (programs, smart lists, workflows, and scoring models) and map them precisely to the target architecture.
- Data Cloud Architecture: Design the target data model and identity resolution strategy using Salesforce Data Cloud to ensure a unified customer view.
- Journey Orchestration: Architect advanced journey orchestration and campaign transformations aligned to the latest Marketing Cloud capabilities.
- Data Frameworks & Integrity: Define and implement robust data migration frameworks (both batch and real-time). Ensure strict data integrity, deduplication, and consent/compliance management throughout the lifecycle.
- Integration Design: Lead integration architecture across CRM, external ecosystems, and third-party tools via APIs and middleware.
- Governance & Support: Establish global platform governance, naming conventions, and the future operational model. Drive the final cut over strategy, testing phases, and post-launch hyper care support.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of core experience in Marketing Automation and Architecture.
- Deep, proven expertise in Marketo (understanding its underlying architecture, programs, and data structures).
- Extensive experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Next / Advanced / Growth edition).
- Hands-on architecture experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data modeling, ingestion, and identity resolution).
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex marketing platform migrations.
