As our Senior Salesforce Solution Architect, based at our headquarters in Ballerup, you will be joining our Commercial Platforms team where you will be the technical leader for our global Salesforce platform. This position will report into the Director of Commercial Platforms, Erik Rothschild.
Key responsibilities
Your mission will be to ensure our Salesforce solutions meet the evolving needs of our business and support our goal of being the most customer-centric player in our field. You will design, implement, and optimize Salesforce solutions that streamline operations and enhance customer interactions. Your deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, coupled with your strong people skills, will be crucial in bringing your ideas to life and gaining stakeholder buy-in.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the architectural design and implementation of Salesforce solutions that align with our business goals and technological strategies.
- Declarative Development: Utilize Salesforce declarative development tools like Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
- Customization & Development: Oversee customization and development of Salesforce applications, ensuring best practices in coding and configuration.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Salesforce development team.
- Data Modeling: Strong understanding of data modeling and database design within the Salesforce platform, including object relationships, field types, and best practices for data management.
- Security: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce security features, including profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
- DevOps and CI/CD: Utilize DevOps practices and tools such as Salesforce DX, Git, Jenkins, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Integration Management: Develop and manage integrations between Salesforce and other business-critical systems. Further, expertise in integration technologies such as REST, SOAP APIs, middleware (MuleSoft), and ETL tools.
- Analytical Tools: Leverage Salesforce analytics tools such as Einstein Analytics, Tableau CRM, and custom reporting.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to translate their needs into effective solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the Salesforce platform.
- Innovation & Improvement: Stay updated with Salesforce advancements and recommend improvements.
Suggested candidate profile
Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper.
You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have:
- Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect or in a similar role, preferably in the healthcare or MedTech industry.
- Certifications: Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud and CPQ Application Architect and/or Salesforce Certified System Architect. Additional Salesforce certifications and TOGAF are a plus.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Salesforce (Manufacturing Sales Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Salesforce CPQ and MuleSoft), Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and integration tools.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and structured approach with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
