We are seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join our team in Rosedale, Chilliwack area. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial and commercial painting.

Responsibilities:

• Remove excess metal and unwanted materials from metal parts, casting and other metal products
• Prepare & maintain equipment and media consumables
• Examine all blasted parts for company quality standards
• Schedule maintenance of equipment and cleanup of direct work area(s)
• Monitor all equipment, materials, PPE for wear as per safety compliance(s)

Skills:

• Layout of Patterns and operation of specific tools: Sandblast equipment
• Able to use basic hand tools – grips, wrenches, screwdrivers, craft knifes etc.
• Able to lift 50 lb
• Prior experience in industrial sandblast process an asset

Pay: $22.50-$26.00 per hour
