A. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

· Operate the CIP (clean-in-place) system to clean and sanitize equipment, tanks, and pipelines.

· Disassembly and reassembly of production pipes, pumps, and valves pipes and perform necessary cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembling of these pieces of equipment.

· Operate and monitor CIP process, identify issues and notify management.

· Scrub processing tanks and vats and assist with cleaning other areas of the facility.

· Able to work in wet environments (PPE will be provided) that are often humid.

· Clean dust, soil, oil, and grease from mixing equipment, machinery, overhead pipes, and conveyors.

· Complete basic preventive maintenance of gaskets, seals,” O’’ rings plates etc. on all product contact surfaces as needed of fluid milk and milk by-products.

· Complete pre-operations check on all product contact surfaces including pumps, valves, agitators, alcoves and clamps before starting up.

· Preparing batches to make product in kettle.

· Complete record keeping items by identifying cleaning cycle times on charts, measuring cleaning concentration, examining flow rates, assessing heat up temperature and sanitizing by chemical strengths.

· Maintaining the chemical inventory and record keeping.

· Provide input to develop new processes as part of continuous improvement.

· Assist in moving products from floor to incubator and cooler using forklifts (Only if licensed. Training will be provided).

· Strict adherence to all Company established procedures and policies, including Food Handling, Health and Safety, WHMIS and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

C. Education/Experience/Effort

Education:

· Secondary Education

Experience:

· 3 to 5 yrs. of related experience and previous manufacturing work experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50-$19.00 per hour
