Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to portray Santa Claus at Wheeler Park Power Centre located at Trinity Dr, Moncton, NB E1G 5L3 for the Holiday Season starting the beginning of December through December 24. This festive role involves engaging with the mall's visitors, spreading holiday cheer, and creating memorable experiences for children and families by taking pictures with them. The ideal candidates will embody the spirit of the season, showcasing warmth, kindness, and a love for storytelling. We will be providing a custom if you don't have one.

Responsibilities

• Be present at the Mall during opening hours
• Greet children and families with enthusiasm and warmth, embodying the character of Santa Claus
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a positive experience for all attendees.
• Participate in photo opportunities, ensuring that each interaction is memorable and joyful.
• Maintain the appearance of Santa Claus by adhering to costume guidelines and personal grooming standards.
• Write letters to children in response to their holiday wishes, fostering a sense of magic and wonder.
• Educate attendees about holiday traditions and the importance of kindness and giving during the season.
• Ensure a smooth and joyful experience for all visitors.

Requirements

• Previous experience in performance roles is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to engage audiences of all ages.
• A passion for storytelling and creating magical experiences for children.
• Ability to work in a festive environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Costume fitting may be required to ensure an authentic appearance.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
