Job Overview
We are seeking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join our busy scaffolding team. This role is essential in ensuring scaffolding materials are prepared, maintained, and delivered efficiently to support our site operations.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading scaffolding materials from trucks and trailers
• Sorting, stacking and organising scaffold equipment in the yard
• Checking equipment for damage and reporting faults
• Cleaning and maintaining scaffolding components
• Preparing materials for delivery and collection
• Assisting scaffolders as required
• Keeping the yard clean, safe and well organised
• Following all health & Safety procedures at all times

Experience

• Previous experience in construction environment preferred (not essential) training will be provided
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
• Good awareness of health & safety
• Reliable, punctual and able to work on their own initiative or as part of a team
• Forklift licence and Safe Pass an advantage ( but not essential)
• Full clean driving licence
