Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in Events, Media Strategy, or New Channel Expansion.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with video production and editing, and with creating and executing successful media campaigns.
  • Understanding of media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Knowledge of Google's products and industry trends.
  • Ability to translate data and trends into powerful strategies and compelling messages.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent data-driven, investigative, written and verbal communication skills.
About the job

As a Creative in Marketing, you bring visual, design, written and experiential acumen to Google products and services, presented across all major media, content, channels, and experiences. You have the ability to perform your role in a flexible, ever-changing environment and must be open to new influences and inspiration. You will work with a deeply cross-functional team and inspire a team of vendor partners by sharing ideas and developing effective solutions to generate multiple concepts supporting all forms of major media. You will be equally comfortable making; rolling up your sleeves and designing, mocking, writing, or prototyping; showing, not telling. Above all, you will inspire and lead by example by making the most of every opportunity to develop breakthrough creative, consistent with the Google Marketing brand, and be able to take and provide clear direction and creative feedback that pushes work forward.In this role, you will focus on promoting products and services, so a strong understanding of media trends, video production, and creative strategy is essential. You will plan and execute media strategies for events, from pre-event promotion and on-site coverage to post-event follow-up.Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute media campaigns across various channels. Create engaging and informative content, including text, images, and videos, that resonates with target audiences.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of media channels, including community moderation and engagement. Track and analyze media performance, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with latest media trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Plan and execute media strategies for events, including pre-event promotion, on-site coverage, and post-event follow-up.
