About Us

Home and Away Care is a provider of Homecare services on behalf of the HSE and privately. We offer Homecare to all ages, including the elderly.

We are managed by a medical and nursing team. We are currently recruiting for a Homecare Scheduler/Care Coordinator.

The position is a mix of 3 days in the office in Bandon, in addition to on call/out of hours remotely to deal with any scheduling issues.

The Homecare scheduler Care Co Ordinator will effectively manage the Client and Carer scheduling and support the client/family.

Note: We are not currently in a position to offer sponsorship for this position or to facilitate the application for a job permit to non-EU/EEA citizens

Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Provide a friendly and professional service to staff, clients and their families
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with all staff, clients and their families and with the local and area HSE Health and Social Care Services personnel
• Ensure all data is managed in accordance with GDPR guidelines and regulations
• Keep up to date Client and Carer records
• Provide administration support and other duties as assigned
• On call duties on a rostered basis

Our Ideal Candidate will have-

Experience in scheduling/care coordinating in a homecare company or similar

Experience in office administration

QQI Fetac Level 5 Healthcare support or equivalent

Strong computer skills

Good organisational skills

Ability to work under pressure and be a team player

Strong oral and written communication skills

A caring and empathetic nature

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €35,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
