School Age Childcare Practitioner (Part Time)

We are excited to announce that we are expanding our team at Ballyhass Childcare Facility CLG. We are seeking fun, enthusiastic School Age Childcare Practitioner (20hrs term time). The working hours are between 1:45pm and 6:15pm Monday to Friday.

Requirement:

• Available to cover shifts between 1.45am and 6.15pm
• A passion for working with children
• Ability to work as part of a team and to work on own initiative
• Commitment to Continuous Professional Development
• Two written references for verification
• Garda Vetting completed prior to starting

Desirable:

• Minimum Qualification: FETAC/QQI level 5
• Manual Handling, First Aid and Food Hygiene Training
• 2 years’ experience working in a childcare environment
• A working knowledge of Aistear and Siolta
• Experience using a programme (eg. Child Paths, Little Vista) for record keeping
