WILDE School is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Full-Time Bus Driver to join our growing team. This role goes beyond the typical school bus position, offering more consistent hours, competitive pay, and meaningful work supporting outdoor, experiential education.

About the Role

As a WILDE School Bus Driver, you’ll play an essential role in our community by safely transporting students to and from school, supporting class field trips throughout the year, and helping power our vibrant summer camp programs.

Responsibilities

• Daily school transportation (morning and afternoon routes)
• Monthly field trips for school classes
• Transportation for summer camp programs, including daily routes and excursions
• Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and positive experience of all passengers
• Maintaining clear communication with school staff and administration
• Upholding all safety regulations, policies, and procedures

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time position
• More hours than a typical school bus driver role
• Competitive pay above industry standards
• Year-round work, including summer employment

Qualifications

• Valid bus driver’s license (with Air Brakes Endorsement)
• Clean driving record and strong safety awareness
• Experience driving school buses or commercial vehicles is an asset
• Ability to work with children and youth in a calm, respectful manner
• Punctual, dependable, and professional
