About the School: Jaswant Singh Khalra Khalsa School is a respected private institution in Brampton, Ontario, dedicated to fostering a safe, nurturing, and academically enriching environment. We are currently looking for a responsible and safety-oriented School Bus Driver to join our transportation team.

Position Overview: The School Bus Driver is entrusted with the safe, punctual transportation of students to and from school, as well as to extracurricular events as required. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and enjoys working with children in a respectful and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a school bus safely on assigned routes (morning and afternoon)
• Ensure student safety and supervision during transit
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Adhere to all traffic laws and school transportation policies
• Maintain accurate records and promptly report any incidents or vehicle concerns
• Communicate effectively and professionally with school staff, students, and parents
• Provide transportation for school-organized events and field trips as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid Ontario Class B license with School Bus Endorsement (S) – required
• Clear Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector Screening)
• Previous school bus driving or child supervision experience – preferred
• Strong knowledge of vehicle safety procedures and emergency protocols
• Punctual, dependable, and professional demeanor
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.55 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Experience:

• School Bus Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
