Dauphin County Technical School is a leading Career & Technical Education (CTE) institution committed to preparing students for real-world success through hands-on training and academic excellence. We are currently seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Bus Driver to join our transportation team.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL with School Bus (S) and Passenger (P) endorsements.
• Clean driving record and background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a school bus driver preferred.
• Commitment to student safety, punctuality, and professionalism.

Position Summary:

The School Bus Driver will ensure safe and timely transportation of students to field trips, clinical sites and off-campus learning experiences. This role is vital to supporting our students' access to specialized programs and career-readiness opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Ensure student safety and enforce behavior policies during transport.
• Maintain accurate route logs and trip documentation.
• Report any mechanical issues, delays, or incidents immediately.
• Comply with all state and local traffic regulations and school policies.

• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Forms (Act 168)
• School Personnel Health Record (including TB test)
