Job Summary
We’re looking for a reliable and responsible driver to transport students to and from school using a small vehicle (not a full-size bus). This is a steady, straightforward route with a focus on safety, punctuality, and keeping things calm and organized for the kids. You’ll be working closely with families and schools, so a good attitude and clear communication matter. If you’re dependable, take safety seriously, and want consistent work with predictable hours, this is a solid fit

Duties

• Safely drive a small school vehicle (van/SUV), not a full-size bus, on an assigned daily route
• Follow all traffic laws and DOE/OPT guidelines while keeping a calm, controlled ride
• Do a quick pre-trip check (lights, tires, basic condition) before each shift
• Pick up and drop off students on time, using the provided route
• Keep clear communication with the office/dispatch and call in when needed
• Keep order in the vehicle and a maintain a calm, respectful environment
• Report any issues (delays, incidents, vehicle problems) right away
• Keep simple daily records if required (route, attendance, incidents)

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Passenger (P) endorsement required
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be able to pass background check, fingerprinting, medical exam, and drug test
• Comfortable driving a small vehicle (van/SUV), not a full-size bus
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow a set daily schedule
• Basic understanding of vehicle safety (pre-trip checks, spotting issues)
• Clear communication with office, parents, and schools
• Comfortable working with children, including those needing extra support
• Able to stay calm and maintain a safe, controlled environment
• Prior driving experience is helpful, but we will train the right person

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
