Avonworth School District is seeking a motivated and energetic School Groundskeeper to maintain and enhance the beauty, safety, and functionality of our school grounds. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all outdoor areas—including athletic fields, landscaping, gardens, and recreational spaces—are well-kept, safe, and inviting for students, staff, and visitors.

Duties

• Cleaning of athletic facilities and school grounds
• Maintain grass, shrubbery and leaf removal of all District properties
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules for lawns, gardens, and athletic fields; troubleshoot issues as needed
• Maintaining general condition of buildings and grounds
• Preparation and care of athletic fields
• Snow removal when necessary
• Performance of other duties as assigned by supervisor

Experience

• Experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance preferred
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment

Pay: $22.60 per hour
