School Guidance Counsellor 2025 (Permanent, Full-Time)

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced counsellor to join a large collaborative Student Support Services Team.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Proven experience in advocating and counselling young people aged 12-18 years old.
• Proven experience in risk assessment and using a range of therapeutic models.
• Proven experience in working across multiple external agencies and local community groups.
• Excellent administrative skills and competency in standard Microsoft office applications and databases.
• Excellent communication (oral, written and listening) and interpersonal skills.
• Qualification in Counselling with registration from NZAC or DAPAANZ.

Position commences as soon as possible.
