Job Summary

The SCM Executive in the food industry is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement of raw materials, inventory management, production coordination, logistics, and vendor management. The role ensures timely availability of ingredients, cost control, quality compliance, and efficient distribution while maintaining food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Vendor Management

• Source raw materials and ingredients such as flour, dairy, sugar, spices, packaging materials, etc.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and contracts.
• Ensure suppliers meet quality and food safety standards.

2. Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels of raw materials and finished goods.
• Implement FIFO / FEFO inventory systems.
• Track expiry dates and minimize wastage.
• Conduct regular stock audits.

3. Production Coordination

• Coordinate with production and kitchen teams to ensure raw materials are available.
• Support production planning based on demand forecasts.
• Monitor daily production requirements.

4. Logistics & Distribution

• Arrange transportation for raw materials and finished food products.
• Track deliveries and ensure timely dispatch.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams.

5. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain purchase orders, invoices, delivery records, and stock reports.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain proper traceability records.

6. Cost Control

• Analyze procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor budget and expenses related to supply chain operations.

7. Reporting & Data Analysis

• Prepare daily / weekly inventory and supply chain reports.
• Use ERP or inventory management software for tracking and reporting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
