HalloweenHQ is Ireland's leading Halloween retailer, operating one of the country's largest seasonal retail businesses. Every year, we transform our operation into a fast-paced, high-volume business, supplying thousands of customers with costumes, decorations and party products throughout the Halloween season.

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Seasonal Sales Assistant to join our team during our busy season. You will help customers, maintain store presentation, process transactions, and support the team in delivering an excellent shopping experience.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, thrives in a busy retail environment, and wants to help customers celebrate Halloween with the perfect costumes and decorations.

What you'll be doing:

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Help customers find costumes, accessories, decorations, and party supplies.
• Offer product recommendations based on customers' needs and preferences.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Report to Store Managers on duty.
• Restock merchandise and maintain attractive product displays.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and safe for customers.
• Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low stock.
• Help set up seasonal displays and promotional areas.
• Support loss prevention procedures and follow store policies.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily sales goals.

What we're looking for:

• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for Halloween and seasonal retail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and the weeks leading up to Halloween.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Contract:

• Part-time
• Fixed-term contract
• Start date: Middle of August
• End date: Early November

Pay: €14.50 per hour
