Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Second Shift Courtesy Patrol Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises during evening hours. This role involves monitoring property, responding to incidents, and maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to handle various situations with professionalism. The candidate must have 2 references and pass a background check. Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly valued, but is not required.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the property using CCTV surveillance and physical inspections to identify any security breaches or safety hazards.
• Monitor surveillance systems and respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activities.
• Provide assistance to visitors and staff as needed, offering directions or support in emergency situations.
• Enforce property policies and procedures, including loss prevention measures.
• Respond effectively to incidents such as disturbances, medical emergencies, or safety concerns.
• Document incidents thoroughly in reports and communicate relevant information to management.
• Assist law enforcement or emergency services when required during investigations or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence on-site to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and security equipment operation.
• Experience in conflict management and de-escalation techniques.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Effective communication skills for reporting incidents and interacting with the public.
