About the Role

Our teachers play an integral role in delivering dynamic, innovative pedagogy that inspires and engages learners, promoting a positive culture of inclusiveness, personalisation and care.

We are seeking a Science and Physics Secondary Teacher to join our College. This is a full-time role, on a permanent/ongoing contract, and is a fantastic opportunity for either recent graduates or experienced teachers, to join the College.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:
  • Promote the mission and ethos of the College through active classroom participation and by modelling appropriate standards of behaviour.
  • Maintain a positive and effective learning environment through well-prepared and varied lessons that cater to a range of student abilities and interests.
  • Set a challenging and realistic program of student homework.
  • Provide prompt and thorough feedback on student work submitted for marking and supervision.

Skills and Experiences:
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
  • Bachelor of Education or equivalent.
  • Current Queensland Teacher Registration or provisional registration.
  • Accreditation to teach in a Catholic School.
  • Demonstrate dedication to the profession of education.
