Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Patrols Mall property to act as a deterrent to crime and mischief.
- Enforces the rules and policies dictated by the mall management and reports discrepancies of violations of same to the mall management.
- Assists Guam Police Department (GPD) and Guam Fire Department (GFD) in response to any situation, which would require action by either agency.
- Conducts fire drills and/or emergency evacuations as warranted.
- Effects crowd and traffic control and/or assist GPD in doing same on Mall property.
- Files routine and special reports such as Incident Report, Lost and Found, etc.as directed by the management.
- Investigates traffic accidents ad files reports on same.
- Operates and monitors security cameras and recording equipment.
- Records parking violations and issues citations.
- Remains on-duty until properly relieved. Informs relief of any verbal orders or situation that would affect the relief officer’s shift.
Job Requirements:
- Must pass a Mall approved training program before an official regular employment status is considered.
- Keen attention to details.
- Excellent concentration skills.
- Must be able to communicate clearly.
- Ability to lift no more than 50lbs and carry at a short distance.
- Be able to continuously bend reach, stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Can follow written and verbal directions and complete assigned task on schedule.
- HS Diploma or GED required.
