Join Our Team as a Commercial Sales Representative!

Are you a motivated B2B sales professional with experience in commercial low-voltage systems like security, networking, CCTV, structured cabling and access control? We’re looking for a Commercial Sales Representative to join our growing team and help drive new business across Ottawa and the surrounding areas.

About the Role:

As a Commercial Sales Representative with Concept HT and Security, you’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and selling tailored commercial solutions in access control, networking, surveillance, structured cabling, security and various other low voltage systems. You’ll collaborate closely with our technical team to ensure accurate proposals and seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting – Develop new leads through outreach, networking, and strategic partnerships.
  • Client Engagement – Conduct site visits, consult with clients, and understand their needs.
  • Proposal Development – Create and present detailed quotes and proposals with technical and budget accuracy.
  • Sales Cycle Management – Oversee all stages from first contact to final contract signing.
  • Product Knowledge – Stay up to date on technologies related to security, networks, CCTV, AV, and access control.
  • CRM Use – Track client interactions, opportunities, and pipeline progress in the company CRM system.
  • Collaboration – Work closely with internal design and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Who We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate is a sales-driven professional with a solid understanding of commercial technology systems and the ability to build long-term client relationships.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in low-voltage, IT, security, or AV sectors.
  • Experience selling access control, CCTV, Security or commercial networking solutions.
  • Ability to read and interpret floorplans, scope documents, and technical drawings.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Base Salary: $55,000 – $80,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications).

Schedule & Work Location:

  • Monday to Friday, Day Shift (weekends off unless pre-arranged)
  • On-site work – Ottawa and surrounding areas. No remote work.
  • Must be able to commute or relocate to Ottawa before starting.
