This position will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our facility by effectively screening inbound and outbound trucks at the gatehouse. If you are a highly responsible individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License and First AID/CPR
• Proven experience in security, preferably in a gatehouse or similar setting
• Excellent Communication Skills, observation and attention to detail skills.
• Conduct ID checks, vehicle/trailer inspections, and visitor logging
• Able to Write Reports on Job-Related Activities
• Keen Eye for Observing Exterior and Interior Premises
• Access Control Experience
• Drives and has the ability to commute in Durham
• Having a personal Vehicle is an asset
• Ability to walk/stand 12-hour shifts, providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents

Pay Range: $19.22

Location - 1400 Church Street South, Pickering, ON L1W 4C1
