We are hiring these new roles to create a panel of Incident Managers to act as the primary coordinator for safety, security, and business continuity incidents. This role ensures that security operations are delivered to the highest standards, personnel are developed and supported, and all incidents are managed, escalated, and resolved in accordance with client requirements, organisational policies, and industry best practices.

Reporting to the Site leadership, the Incident Managers provide operational leadership across security teams, maintains incident response readiness, and serves as the lead during incidents and emergencies within the organisation's command structure.

Working Hours: shifts 0700-1900 and 1900-0700. The panel of IMs will provide 24-7 cover.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

Security Operations Leadership

  • Provide daily supervision and leadership of security operations and SSC operations.
  • Promote and maintain a positive security culture, leading by example through professionalism, accountability, and high standards of conduct.
  • Ensure effective shift handovers and continuity of operations through documented and verbal briefings.
  • Act as the primary communication conduit between management, client stakeholders, Provincial management and operational security teams.

Incident & Crisis Management

  • Provide command and leadership during live incidents and emergencies while coordinating with SSC and escalation procedures.
  • Ensure all incidents are accurately reported, documented, escalated, and managed in accordance with organisational and client escalation protocols.
  • Conduct comprehensive post-incident reviews, identify lessons learned, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Support organisational resilience, business continuity, and disaster recovery objectives.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, motivate, and support security personnel to achieve operational excellence.
  • Monitor staff performance, conduct coaching sessions, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Identify training requirements through ongoing assessment and operational observations.
  • Facilitate team briefings, toolbox talks, and operational updates.


Operational Improvement & Governance

  • Review operational workflows and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of risk assessments, security procedures, and business continuity plans.
  • Ensure accurate production of operational reports, incident summaries, and management updates.
  • Conduct routine operational audits, collect operational metrics, and analyse data to feed into compliance reporting and continuous improvement.

Health, Safety & Welfare

  • Actively promote a strong health and safety culture across all operations.
  • Ensure personnel follow requirements and report incidents as required.
  • Provide or coordinate First Aid response where trained and designated to do so.

Required Criteria

  • Proven experience in security operations, incident management, emergency services, corporate security, control room environments, or critical infrastructure operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams within high-pressure operational environments.
  • Strong incident response and crisis management capability.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication, briefing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience producing operational reports and incident documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and operational reviews.
  • Valid PSA Licence
  • Experienced in technology and security systems with the ability to learn. For example, Google Workspace, Gemini, C-Cure.

Desired Criteria

  • First Aid certificate
  • Experience operating within a command structure.
  • Knowledge of Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Organisational Resilience frameworks.
  • Experience working with Global Security Operations Centres (GSOC).
  • Understanding risk management, and security governance frameworks.
  • Experience managing multi-site or large-scale security operations.
  • Security management qualification.
