Full job description Security Installation Engineer – Trainee: Due to continued growth,MAC Security is looking to recruit a Trainee Security Installation Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or build a career in the electronic security industry. You will work alongside experienced engineers and receive hands-on training in the installation and maintenance of a wide range of systems including CCTV, intruder alarms, fire alarms, and access control. We are looking for someone who is practical, eager to learn, dependable, and able to work well as part of a team.

Main responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation of:
• CCTV systems
• Intruder alarm systems
• Fire alarm systems
• Access control systems
• Support engineers on customer sites
• Learn how to cable, fit, test, and commission security equipment
• Assist with system upgrades and additions
• Help complete job sheets and installation documentation
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in good order
• Follow company procedures and health and safety requirements
• Represent MAC Security professionally on site

What we are looking for:

• A strong interest in security systems, electrical work, or technology
• Good practical skills and willingness to learn
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good timekeeping and reliability
• Full clean driving licence is desirable
• Safe Pass or relevant site training is an advantage, but not essential
• Previous experience in construction, electrical work, security, fire alarms, or a similar hands-on role is an advantage, but not essential
