Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed diligently.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities.
• Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to observe and report any suspicious behavior.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure safety compliance.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Assist in conflict management by de-escalating situations as they arise.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.

Experience

• Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A background in military or law enforcement can be beneficial for this role.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.77 - $15.00 per hour

• 12 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• Choose your own hours
• Evening shift
• Holidays

• Weekends as needed
