Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in Gibsonton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role involves conducting routine patrols and providing exceptional customer service and communication. As this is an armed and driving post, you will be responsible for operating a vehicle while maintaining a strong presence throughout the property. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents within the location.
• Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with site protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
