Security Systems Engineer & 3rd/4th year Apprentice
Location: Leinster Based
Salary: €40,000 - €60,000 DOE

Are you an experienced Security Systems Engineer looking for your next opportunity? or a 3rd/4th Year Apprentice looking to progress.
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Security Systems Engineer to join our team.
This is a hands-on role for an engineer who is confident working across multiple security and life-safety systems and enjoys solving problems, working with customers and delivering a high standard of workmanship.

What You'll Be Doing
Your role will include the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding of:
- Intruder Alarm Systems
- CCTV Systems – IP & Analogue
- Access Control Systems
- Intercom & Door Entry Systems
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Integrated security systems and associated equipment
You'll be working on a variety of commercial and domestic projects, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and ensuring systems are operating correctly and reliably.
You will also:
- Carry out scheduled maintenance and reactive call-outs
- Commission and test newly installed systems
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults
- Configure and programme security systems
- Complete service reports and relevant documentation
- Communicate directly with customers and provide professional technical support
- Work independently while also being part of a wider engineering team
- Maintain a high standard of health & safety and workmanship
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
You should have:
- Proven experience as a Security Systems Engineer
- Strong practical experience with Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Intercoms
- Experience with Fire Alarm Systems
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience installing, commissioning and maintaining security systems
- Good knowledge of IP/networked security systems
- Good IT and networking skills
- A professional approach to customers and colleagues
- The ability to work independently and manage your own jobs
- A full, clean driving licence
Relevant qualifications and manufacturer training are an advantage, but practical experience and the right attitude are equally important.
