Job Overview:

Bryan Municipal Court is seeking a dependable, professional, and detail-oriented individual as a full-time Bailiff/Security Officer. This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for court employees, visitors, and the public. This position will also work closely with the Bryan Municipal Probation Department.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining building, staff, and courtroom security
• Serving court documents to individuals
• Supervising offenders and assisting with behavioral modification
• Maintaining courtroom order and public safety
• Interacting professionally with court personnel and the public
• Other duties assigned by the Judge

Experience:

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or military roles is highly desirable.
• MUST be firearm qualified
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, dependable, and attentive to detail
• Basic typing and computer skills
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle challenging situations professionally

Position Details:

• Pay range $20-$30 depending on experience
• Monday-Friday
• 35 hours week
• 14 paid holidays
