Rate - £11.44 PAYE or £12.98

We are now looking for a professional Security Officer/Concierge to join our team in Bristol to support a prestigious student accommodation site.

Position Overview:

As a Security Officer/Concierge, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure, welcoming, and well-presented environment for residents. This dual-purpose role combines traditional security responsibilities with concierge duties, ensuring high-quality service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Duties:

• Patrol external areas and ensure all first-floor courtyards are secured between 11 PM and 8 AM.
• Monitor the site via CCTV to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, adhering to company protocols.
• Log all deliveries and record incidents accurately.
• Enforce site policies to maintain order and security.

Concierge Duties:

• Man the reception desk and assist residents with queries.
• Provide access to booked amenity spaces, including TV lounges and study rooms.
• Help residents with shared equipment, such as hoovers and luggage trolleys.
• Assist residents during lockouts in line with site procedures.

Cleaning & Maintenance Responsibilities:

• Maintain the tidiness and presentation of public areas, including reception and shared spaces.
• Mop and clean high-traffic areas as needed.
• Monitor and rotate bins in the bin store; empty public area bins over the weekend if required.
• Restock public toilets with supplies over the weekend.
• Pick up litter from the building frontage.
• Adjust and strengthen furniture in common areas as necessary.

Requirements:

• SIA License (Security Industry Authority) is essential.
• Previous experience in a security or concierge role is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £11.44-£12.88 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
