About the role: -

Progressive Communications is looking for an experienced Security /ICT technician to join our team. You will be undertaking a plethora of tasks, primarily in the Security system and Data Cabling but work also includes some IT/Telecommunication related work.

A successful candidate will be travelling a lot for work in various parts of New Zealand.

Responsibilities: -

• To install and configure CCTV Systems
• To install and configure Alarm systems(Paradox,DSC)
• To install and configure Access control (ICT, Inner Range)
• Must have Experience with Data Cabling
• Have some experience in IT/Networking to Setup Wi-Fi Solutions for Business
• Able to work under pressure and unsupervised.
• To provide technical support over the phone or by visiting the client's premises.

Experience and Requirements: -

Progressive Communications is looking for someone who: -

• Has substantial experience in Security and ICT Industry
• Can self-manage and is a solutions person.
• Must have minimum 1 year Industry Experience in Access Control , CCTV , Alarms, Cabling
• Simply, have all the accoutrements of a great employee - A full driver's license, great attitude, and a team player.
• Highest regard for the health and safety of everyone on site, and the public.
• Able to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and mobile elevated work platforms.
• Use health and safety equipment including PPE
• Working in hard-to-reach places including heights, in ceilings and under floors
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
