Company Summary

We are a family oriented farm that grows corn, soybeans, and wheat. We specialize in soybean and wheat seed production, with emphasis on non-GMO food grade soybeans. We are vertically integrated from seed production to processing on our farm, where we clean, and package soybean and wheat for local and international customers. This job will be a combination of mechanical, elevator, packaging and processing elements, where you would be required to help.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with daily plant operations, maintenance, and completing orders. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors and indoors in a dynamic environment while gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of seed processing, mechanical and maintenance related items.

Duties

• Conduct heavy lifting of materials, and seed bags, equipment, as needed (30kg)
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
• operate a bagging line with filling 30kg bags and controlling a robotic palletizer
• filling 1000 kg tote bags and transporting them throughout the warehouse
• loading trucks
• check and weigh materials and products
• sort, pack materials and products
• assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers
• perform other laboring and elemental activities
• clean machines and immediate work areas.

Experience & Skills

• Mechanical knowledge is a plus for equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
• Basic math skills for measuring inputs and calculating quantities are necessary
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and operating power tools throughout the workday is essential
• A valid driver’s license is required
• Forklift license is required
