Our agribusiness team supports clients with everything from bookkeeping and compliance to tax planning, succession, and farm business consulting. You’ll also have the opportunity to travel to regional areas across Queensland for client visits and community events!

About The Role:
As Senior Accountant, you’ll support managers and partners with a range of tasks, including:

Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, BAS, management reports, reconciliations and supporting work papers to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely delivery of client work
- Delivering high-quality accounting, taxation and business advisory services, including budgeting, cash flow forecasting, business restructures, due diligence engagements and other client advisory projects
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships by providing exceptional service, responding to client needs and identifying opportunities to expand service offerings across the firm
- Supervising, coaching and reviewing the work of less experienced team members, providing technical guidance and support to ensure quality outcomes and professional development
- Managing workflow, budgets and productivity across assigned client portfolios and engagement teams, ensuring work is completed efficiently, within budget and to agreed deadlines
- Contributing to a high-performing team culture through continuous professional development, compliance with professional and ethical standards, and active participation in business development and networking activities
3-5 years' experience in a public practice accounting firm
CA/CPA studies underway or near completion
Experience working with agribusiness clients is highly regarded
Experience using Xero, FYI Docs and Xero Active is preferable
A collaborative mindset and eagerness to take on new challenges
Excellent attention to detail and a client-centric approach
