Starting salary: $105,698 - $128,391 negotiable + superannuation

The role | Te tūnga
The role is a permanent role based in Whanganui-a-tara. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Māori Partnerships and Engagement.
The roles primary focus is to provide strategic and operational assistance to the work programme, facilitating the effective achievement of both internal and external deliverables within the Māori Partnerships and Engagements team
We see you bringing a close eye for detail, an enabler who keeps everything operating smoothly with the clear focus on delivering for and with Iwi Māori and understanding of Te Ao Māori to the role.

This role would suit someone who can show:
- Knowledge and experience, or willingness to learn about Te Tiriti, Tikanga, Te Reo and Te Ao Māori.
- Examples where you've worked with Māori, iwi, hapū and Tiriti partners.
- Demonstration of mātauranga Māori, fluency in te reo, understanding of tikanga and applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi in a work setting.
- Examples of key relationships you've built and how and why relationships are important.
- Where you've demonstrated customer centricity, collaborated with others and invited feedback.
