Senior Analyst - 3 Month Fixed Term

Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Role

We are looking for a Senior analyst to join the Analysis team alongside 6 other analysts, reporting to the Team Leader, on a short term basis to assist with clearing a backlog of work.

This is a 3 month fixed term position based in our Wellington CBD location and you'll ideally be able to start immediately.

The team manage a range of work, meaning that often no two days are the same.

Your work will involve:

• calculating rebates
• forecasting and variance analysis
• responding to OIA's and data requests from internal and external stakeholders
• identifying, exploring and analysing trends and patterns in data

We are seeking someone who demonstrates initiative and the ability to champion the tasks they undertake.

Ideally you will have or be developing skills in the following areas:

• data analysis, forecasting and scenario modelling skills
• data manipulation experience using T-SQL
• intermediate excel
• enjoy problem solving and have a high attention to detail
• a qualification in a quantitative or financial discipline
• a passion for continuous learning
