- Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, in particular the ability to synthetize clearly complex issues
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with the tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of SQL is mandatory
Key job responsibilities
You will be responsible for driving the long-term planning strategy for end-to-end EU Ops, enabling optimal trade-offs between cost and speed. Concretely you will own the Origin-Destination (OD) plan in the 3Y horizon guiding our topology and labor planning strategy. This is a highly visible position that requires influencing across multiple business teams, strong collaboration with tech teams, and interaction with senior leaders. The role requires a deep understanding of the end-to-end supply chain of Amazon.
The role includes 40% of stakeholder/project management and 60% analytical activities:
Innovation & Stakeholder/Project management:
- Collaborate with business stakeholder to understand their constraints and requirements for planning
- Collaborate with tech teams to generate optimal plans and what-if scenarios
- Identify additional opportunities to optimize the network: quickly launch pilots and build scale-up business cases.
- Lead regular business review with partner teams to monitor their adherence to plan and explain the planning guidance/ideal.
- Consolidate progress into crisp and concise data-driven status updates. You will own reporting to Amazon senior leadership (VP-level).
- Deep dive complex data to uncover actionable insights for known and unknown problems.
- Good expertise with financials modelling (P&L, cashflow, mix/rate).
