Job Title: Senior Analyst - Risk & Control Enablement - CBA India
Location: Bengaluru - Manyata Tech Park

Business & Team: We are part of the Technology CCO India Line 1 team our responsibilities include:

  • DLP Alerts and Incident management
  • Risk Register support
  • Data quality
  • Providing support in risk related activities as in when required


Impact & Contribution: As part of Line 1 team, we play a vital role in managing data to prevent breaches and ensure building trust with customer. Additionally, we maintain the quality of the data in risk register by supporting the teams across technology and operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct . The Code of Conduct sets the standards of behaviour, actions and decisions we expect from our people.
  • Responsible for data quality in/maintain various databases (including RiskInSite) and contribute to the monthly management reporting.
  • Continuously Monitor, respond and manage alerts generated from DLP systems and other monitoring platforms to identify potential breaches.
  • Investigate and remediate DLP alerts/ incidents as per guidelines and perform analysis for triage/escalation.
  • Analyse and aggregate data loss prevention data to support the enhancement/tuning of existing policies and determine controls required.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis of DLP issues and incidents, identifying control improvements, where applicable.
  • Analyse global data loss prevention data to provide metric reporting, prepare reports and dashboards.
  • Ability to grasp technical aspects, willing to learn new and challenging technology, enthusiasm in accepting challenging assignments.
  • Train and mentor new joiners in the team on DLP tools and process.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to serve as a key point of contact for DLP related initiatives and collaborate with IT, Cybersecurity and compliance teams on DLP initiatives.
  • Provide strategic inputs for strengthening the organizations data protection framework and participate in the development of long-term strategies to enhance data protection.
  • Support Business Units in understanding and complying with DLP policies.
  • People Knowledge: Ability to work with cross functional teams present in India and Australia.


Essential Skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience in banking/financial services/other relevant experience and k nowledge of Operational and Compliance Risk frameworks
  • Ability to analyse: Assess & identify risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions
  • The ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • C ritical and analytical: Ability to think critically and analytically and use data driven insights to solve problems
  • Issues and Incidents: Ensure Compliance and Operational Risk issues and incidents are identified managed
  • Risk and Control Self-Assessment: Enable the business to assess and identify inherent risks and develop key controls, identify inadequate controls and issues


Education Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in risk management, finance, accounting or related field
  • Technology related certifications will be favourable
