Senior Backend Developer

We’re entering an exciting phase where digital solutions play a crucial role in developing and strengthening our global wholesale platform. Now, we’re looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our ambitious team and help deliver meaningful solutions that create real business impact.

YOUR TEAM
You will join a team of 18 colleagues working across BESTSELLER’s entire wholesale business. Together, we focus on leveraging digital solutions that increase effectiveness across brands and markets.
We work pragmatically, value collaboration, and are driven by delivering tangible value to our stakeholders. You’ll collaborate closely with frontend developers, architects, UI and UX designers to build solutions used by both our global sales organisation and our customers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Our platform support both our global sales organisation and our customers, providing a digital space where products are marketed and sold globally. The next chapter in our journey is to build on that foundation with a focus on digitalising our sales processes, creating performance insights and enabling personalised recommendations that both support customers and sales representatives.
Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and producing backend functionality for our solutions
• Ensuring high-quality code aligned with established conventions
• Conducting code reviews
• Optimising and maintaining standard elements
• Testing and continuously improving solutions
• Contributing to discussions around methods, frameworks, and architectural decisions

You take ownership of your solutions and actively contribute to finding the best technical approaches for the business.

YOUR PROFILE
You are a Backend Developer who builds efficient, scalable backend solutions used across markets and user groups. You take ownership, collaborate naturally in agile environments, and continuously seek to improve both code and processes.
We expect that you:

• Have solid experience with C#, .NET and ASP.NET (including ASP.NET MVC)
• Have strong SQL experience and understand performance considerations
• Have experience building applications using cloud services
• Understand architectural trade-offs and make well-founded technical decisions
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers and software architects
• Deliver quality code with attention to detail
• Are fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken

Although you have been in the game for some time, you are curious, eager to learn new technologies, and motivated by contributing to team success.
