Senior Bar Person – Busy Gastro Pub (Celbridge

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Bar Person to join our busy gastro pub in Celbridge.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards behind the bar, and supporting the day-to-day operation of a fast-paced venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and draught products.
• Open and close the bar in accordance with company procedures.
• Complete end-of-day cashing up and reconcile tills accurately.
• Change kegs and ensure all draught systems are operating correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the bar area.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control and ordering.
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws, food safety, and health and safety regulations.
• Assist in training and supporting junior bar staff when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a busy bar or gastro pub environment.
• Strong cocktail-making skills and knowledge of premium drinks.
• Ability to serve food
• Experience cashing up and handling cash reconciliations.
• Confident opening and closing the premises independently.
• Ability to change kegs and troubleshoot basic draught beer issues.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, hardworking, and capable of working under pressure.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
