About The Role

Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the role holder will be responsible for developing, leading and implementing strategic growth initiatives for their sector across the business. They will lead their team in generating growth by driving new business opportunities and strengthening existing customer relationships to ensure retention.

They will possess a high degree of strategic thinking, leadership and the ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

Growth

  • Develop and implement regional business development strategies;
  • Deliver individual, team and sector growth targets;
  • Lead the team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities;
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape to inform business development strategies;
  • Develop clear and effective value propositions with the Marketing Team.
People
  • Lead and mentor the team, providing direction and coaching to help meet individual and team targets;
  • Be a role model for positive attitude and respect for our colleagues;
  • Participate in our Pathway to Success programme to set objectives and develop colleague’s skills, knowledge and capabilities;
  • Lead and encourage a culture of reward and recognition, and proactively acknowledge the contributions of our colleagues;
  • Lead a culture of health and well-being and encourage our colleagues to be open with their health and welfare concerns;
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team;
  • Actively support and encourage a culture of social responsibility.
Customer
  • Build and maintain strong and forward-facing relationships with key customers and stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive business growth;
  • Demonstrate and encourage trust, integrity and collaboration with all our customers;
  • Work with key stakeholders across the IOI and GB business areas to develop best practice for operational excellence and understand where the business can make enhancements and improvements to meet client needs in new opportunities.

Simplicity

  • Understand and lead on opportunities, developing the best solution to maximise revenue;
  • Develop and implement a culture which seeks out innovation and added value in all areas creating a compelling bid and operational model for customers;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategy;
  • Track, analyse and report on key metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven decisions.
