Role Overview
The Sales Representative at Vanbrey serves as the frontline ambassador of our consulting brand. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting prospective clients into long-term partners. This role requires a consultative sales mindset — you are not just selling a service, you are building trust and demonstrating the strategic value Vanbrey brings to every engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
▸ Identify and prospect new clients across target industries through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and events
▸ Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and activities
▸ Conduct discovery calls and needs assessments to understand prospect pain points and business goals
Client Engagement & Sales Execution
▸ Present Vanbrey's consulting services compellingly, tailoring pitches to each client's strategic context
▸ Collaborate with internal practice leads and consultants to develop customized proposals and scope-of-work documents
▸ Negotiate contract terms and pricing within established guidelines to close deals efficiently
▸ Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Relationship Management
▸ Nurture relationships with existing clients to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
▸ Serve as the primary point of contact during the pre-engagement and onboarding phase
▸ Gather client feedback and communicate insights to leadership to improve service offerings
Market Intelligence
▸ Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging client needs to sharpen Vanbrey's positioning
▸ Contribute to marketing efforts by providing field insights for content, campaigns, and thought leadership
Qualifications
Required
▸ Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
▸ 2–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in consulting, professional services, or Advisory
▸ Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
▸ Exceptional communication and presentation skills — written and verbal
▸ Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to listen, diagnose, and propose solutions
Preferred
▸ Experience selling consulting, advisory, or managed services
▸ Existing professional network or book of business
▸ Exposure to multi-stakeholder sales cycles and complex deal structures
