Job Description
Analyze freight markets, including vessel and cargo trades, to maximize team value and conduct short-term and spot chartering of dry bulk freight.
Assist the Project Team in booking space for break bulk cargo or fixing MPP (Multipurpose Project) return legs.
Ensure all transactions comply with group policies, oversee vessel P&L performance in consultation with Operations, and provide short-term market data and intelligence. Write reports and analyze freight fixtures against market conditions.
Manage existing customer relationships, develop new business for dry bulk cargo, and maintain broker relationships. Support regional Sky Fusion Teams in engaging and attracting customers.
Receive scheduling information from Operations to align vessel ETAs and fixtures, assist in supervising ships’ performance, and utilize freight knowledge for voyage calculations.
Provide advisory services for contract reviews and commercial planning, and source, negotiate, and contract dry bulk cargo opportunities. Proficient in executing COA (Contract of Affreightment) terms.
Proficient in using FFA (Forward Freight Agreements) hedging tools to ensure voyage profitability.
Job Requirement
Relevant working experience in shipping prefer multi-purpose vessels operator or commercial experience
Good international trade route experience, on cargo flow, on ship supply; Possesses extensive client resources in dry bulk and industrial project logistics and extensive broker contact resources
Good interpersonal skills that can quickly establishing relationships with clients, ship owners and brokers
Good communication and teamwork
High self-motivation and strong sense of responsibility
Fluent in English
Bachelor Degree & above
