Senior Commercial Lead

This is a full time position of 40 hours per week

The remuneration range for this role is $125,174 to 176,716. $147,263 is the 100% mark (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience

The opportunity

This is a key leadership position within Commercial & Procurement team. As the Senior Commercial Lead you will provide strategic commercial leadership and expertise to Wellington Water Limited (WWL), ensuring the delivery of value for money across our key commercial contracts and panel arrangements. You will strengthen our commercial capabilities and provide additional leadership capacity within the Commercial & Procurement team. Awareness of Government policy is preferred.

• • Lead the development and implementation of a new capex programme delivery model
  • Provide strategic commercial advice to internal stakeholders, including SLT and CEO
  • Develop and manage the WWL commercial strategy
  • Provide commercial inputs to other service delivery contracts – Regional WWTP and Maintenance Alliance

About you

To be successful in this role you will bring:

• • Ideally 10+ years of commercial management experience in infrastructure or utilities
  • (MCIPS) qualified or relevant tertiary qualification in commerce/business
• • Experience in leading strategic procurement projects
  • Strong leadership skills
• • Senior stakeholder engagement management
  • Ability to apply change management principles
