Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Consultant within Limerick Regulatory Reporting department. Reporting directly to the Head of Regulatory Reporting Operations, this is an excellent opportunity to progress in your career. This role will be an integral part of the management team.

Principal Responsibilities

Responsible to provide unrivalled client satisfaction and continuously improve the department’s performance to clients (internal and external) year on year as part of the Regulatory Reporting team

Provides leadership and guidance to staff, in both onshore and offshore locations, fostering an environment which encourages participation, teamwork, and communication.

Cultivates and maintains working relationships with relationship managers to ensure client account activity are meeting client needs.

Assist the team with the development of procedures for the running of Regulatory Reporting with an emphasis on ensuring that the solutions are being run in the most efficient way.

To conduct performance reviews for team as required, and to be proactive in the development and training needs of self and team.

Act as an SME on the technical operation of the Northern Trust Regulatory reporting department.

Identify and develop solutions which can improve the efficiency and accuracy of Northern Trust Regulatory Reporting services.

Keep abreast of industry and regulatory developments.

Relationships and Stakeholders

Direct Manager – Head of Regulatory Reporting

Internal Stakeholders – Head of Fund Accounting, Section Managers, New Business Teams, Relationship Managers, Client Service Delivery Managers and Product Teams

External Key Stakeholders – Clients, Investment Managers, Regulators

Skills / Experience

Think ‘outside of the box’ when designing or proposing solutions, to help arrive at the most transferrable, simplistic and flexible solution.

Fund Administration/Regulatory/Finance operational background an advantage.

Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.

Contributes, promotes, and adopts new ideas and approaches.

Confident, well-balanced and resilient, displays drive and energy directed to the achievement of well-defined goals

Planning and organisation skills demonstrating best use of resources.

Ability to review and resolve complex issues against challenging deadlines.

Experience of representing businesses to current clients via presentations.

Experience of managing teams and delegating responsibility.

Results-oriented, ambitious, highly driven.

Enthusiasm to improve company performance and systems.

Excellent IT skills especially Microsoft Excel
