As a Senior Data Analyst, you will evaluate and migrate reporting solutions using Tableau and Power BI, focusing on retail banking operations. They will analyze report usage, identify redundant dashboards, assess data source accuracy, and ensure KPIs align with business objectives. The role includes reviewing regulatory compliance, optimizing dashboard performance, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve reporting strategies. Effective documentation of migration strategies and insights will be key.
Responsibilities:
- Audit of existing Tableau reports to identify active, unused, and redundant dashboards.
- Analyse report usage data to assess user engagement and business value.
- Evaluate data sources for accuracy, consistency, and integration with retail banking systems.
- Review KPI alignment to ensure reports meet business and strategic objectives.
- Identify reporting gaps for emerging needs.
- Assess performance metrics to optimize dashboard efficiency.
- Engage stakeholders to gather feedback on report relevance and usability.
- Document insights to inform reporting strategy and improvements.
- Experience in Tableau and Power BI for evaluating and migrating reporting solutions.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database structures for seamless migration.
- Expertise in retail banking operations and KPI-driven reporting requirements.
- Ability to analyze report usage and identify redundant or underutilized dashboards.
- Familiarity with ETL processes for transforming and integrating data between systems.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and data governance in the banking sector.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in documenting migration strategies and outcomes.
