What does a successful Senior Developer do at Fiserv?
As a Developer, you’ll be a delivery team member working in a scrum team, responsible for delivering elegant code and contributing to process improvement. You’ll be supporting the development of new features and enhancements, maintenance and support of existing features, and be involved in integration, deployment and testing.

What Will You Do:

• The Product Development team is responsible for building and maintaining software for mobile and online banking.
• Building and maintaining our products includes development of new features and enhancements, maintenance and
• support of existing features, technical design and documentation, integration, deployment and testing.
• As a Software Developer in the Product Development organisation, you will contribute across to all aspects of
• project delivery with specific focus on the development of new features and enhancements to our products.
• You will be required to respond to occasional requests for additional off-hour work in the event of an emergency client
• incident or critical business need.

What You Need To Have:

• Minimum 5 year hands-on software development experience designing, writing, debugging and testing object
• oriented code using Node.JS and Typescript development framework in a collaborative cross-functional environment.
• Software development qualifications such as Microsoft Certified Professional Developer or Oracle Certified Java Programmer preferred.
• An advanced understanding of common computer programming algorithms.
• An advanced understanding of object oriented design principles.
• A solid understanding of software development patterns and their application in several programming languages
• An advanced understanding of coding techniques which contribute to the reliability, maintainability, readability, simplicity, performance, and testability of software.
• A solid understanding of IT environments including networking, server technologies, databases, security and performance.
• Proficient in the day-to-day practicalities of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or the Rational Unified Process.
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Sciences.
• Must have experience deploying high load and high traffic applications through Microsoft Azure or other Cloud provider.
• Must have experiencing designing and developing secure API following RESTful principle.
