Senior Development Consultant with DevOps Experience

Join our dynamic team at Commercial Data & Analytics (CDA), where over 50 Analysts, Consultants, Engineers, and Data Scientists are dedicated to transforming, tracking, and improving the commercial results of Danske Bank. We work with various types of behavioral data for personal customers and are part of the Forward '28 strategy, focusing on delivering great customer experiences through digital solutions and tailored advisory services. Our team is global, with members located in Copenhagen, Vilnius, and Bangalore, working across the value chain from technical solutions to business utilization of BI and Data Science. You will be located in Copenhagen in our brand new domicile at Postgrunden.

The Role

As a Senior Development Consultant, you will be an integral part of our Commercial Data team, consisting of approximately 15 colleagues. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain data assets for various use cases, including BI and Data Science (ML, Gen AI, etc.). You will work closely with data and business experts to ensure high-quality customer journeys and drive digital transformation as part of the Forward '28 strategy. Your analytical skills will be crucial in working with our databases, understanding data models, and translating that knowledge into actionable insights for our business. Additionally, you will drive and implement best practices for ETL and DevOps processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the commercial organization to produce actionable data insights supporting the Forward '28 strategy.
• Develop and own data products in the commercial data area from ideation to production.
• Implement CI/CD processes.
• Drive best practices for ETL processes.
• Work closely with our data engineering team in Bangalore and Lithuania.

About You

We are looking for a proactive, result-oriented, and self-driven individual with:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a consultant, data engineering, or data analyst role.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with people across the organization and from different cultures.
• A strong interest in commercial data and technology.
Excellent written and spoken English.
